Vitamin ‘D’ deficiency has now been linked to heart disease and strokes; they are cardiovascular diseases, the number 1 killer globally.

The study found that those with low vitamin ‘D’ levels  were:

  •  77% more likely to die early
  • 45% more likely to develop coronary artery disease
  • Twice as likely to develop heart failure

According to those findings vitamin ‘D’ can be effective in the treatment and prevention of  heart attacks and strokes.

This could be a major medical breakthrough for millions who are already at risk.

For healthy eating, it is recommended that people over 50 include vitamin ‘D’ supplements in their diet.
