Clozapine Use Could Have Saved Lives

If clozapine was prescribed as an anti-phsychotic  treatment for schizophrenia, lives could have been saved; this is according to a research report. Clozapine was withdrawn as a safe drug because of the side effects, but a recent study of 67,000 schizophrenics found that these paitients have a 26%  lower chance of dying.   Advertisements
