-Cancer<br />
-Diabetes<br />
-Cardiovascular disease<br />
-COPD</p>
<p>This blog is about educating consumers to reduce health risk factors that cause these diseases. By taking action to reduce one or more of these risk factors you are playing a role in solving this catastrophe.</p>
<p>The risk factors are: smoking, physical inactivity, unhealthy eating,obesity and air pollution.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>If you are catering for parties during the holidays, and are planning to use liver pate , cook the liver well to prevent food poisoining.</p>
<p>The Foods Standards Agency (FSA) is reminding caterers to cook poultry liver well to prevent the infection.</p>
<p>Uncooked chicken liver pate often served at weddings was linked to food poisoining.</p>
<p>Researchers analysed 18 outbreaks of Campylobacter, the most common form of food poisoining in Great Britain.<br />
In the study 443 people became sick and one had to be hospitalized.</p>
<p>The symptoms of the food poisoining are:<br />
-Diarrhoea<br />
-General malaise<br />
-Stomach pain<br />
-Fever<br />
-Cramps</p>
<p>The report is advising caterers to reduce the risk of people becoming infected by ensuring the liver is well cooked. The liver is considered well cooked when the center is no longer pink.</p>
<p>The warning applies to anyone catering for a wedding or special event.</p>

There have been some studies that have linked it to reduced risk of prostate cancer, breast cancer , depression and even alzheimer&#8217;s.</p>
<p>Health experts and health departments are calling for caution on its use. They are saying that coffee sold at coffee shops varies on how much caffeine is in a cup and  that can be a problem.</p>
<p>They are especially concerned about pregnant women who are advised to reduce theirs.</p>
<p>The advice on how much is safe varies.</p>
<p>Pregnant women are advised to have a maximum of 200mg per day, while for others experts believe 400mg is safe.</p>
<p>Caution should be used in adding sugar, cream and milk to coffee because of the health risks of sugar and fat in the diet. </p>
<p>Coffee without sugar and low fat milk is a healthier choice especially for those who need to watch their weight.</p>

<p>In one study involving 18-22 year olds, researchers used factor analysis and identifid the participants diets as two types.</p>
<p>In one group participants ate a western diet of high intake of red meat and refined grain.</p>
<p>A second group ate a prudent diet of high intake of fish, vegetables and whole grain.</p>
<p>Researchers found the prudent diet to be associated with higher sperm motility.</p>
<p>In another study, men attending a fertility center completed food journals and underwent semen analysis.<br />
Researchers found that a diet high in trans fat was negatively associated with sperm concentration.</p>
<p>Based on the findings researchers are continiuing to explore the impact of nutrition on male fertility.</p>
<p>Men, as it is with women, must include healthy eating in family planning.</p>

I developed a list of daily habits to modify a sedentary lifestyle. These habits once adopted will increase your level of activity without utilizing more than 24 hours in a day.<br />
